This Christmas I received the Sega Genesis Collection for my PSP. I have gotten a ton of value from this game. After playing through Golden Axe, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Phantasy Star 4! So what would you guys recommend I play on there next? There are a lot of titles I have never heard of. Do any of you have this collection and have a suggestion?

I have the PS2 one. I heard it has mostly the same games, but with different unlockables. Gain Ground and Golden Axe 2 are worth playing, as well as Shadow Dancer (only US rev has this, I think), Comix Zone, Ristar, Sonic 2, Decapattack, and Shinobi 3. I use mine mostly for the arcade ports and games I don't have on cart, though.

When I got the the Ultimate edition for 360, I played through Phantasy Star 1 - 4 in a row. If you liked Phantasy Star IV, definitely play the others. I did agree with what most people say though, Phantasy Star 3 can't stand up to the rest of the series. It's a fun game, there's nothing "wrong" with it, but it's not as good as the others mostly because its prequel storyline is a bit thin.

Also check out Sword Of Vermilion, another great RPG, and Kid Chameleon, the only platformer I enjoy more than Super Mario Bros. Kid Chameleon can be rather insane on the difficulty level, just make sure to use your special ability with Maniaxe to get extra guys. Even with tons of lives I've never gotten past The Final Marathon.

I got it just for Golden Axe 3...not the best game, but I liked it...I remember reserving Golden Axe 3 back when it was originally going to come out, and was then cancelled..I was crushed being that I was and still am a big golden axe fan

Both of these, Altered Beast, Shinobi 3, Shadow Dancer, Gain Ground, and Phantasy Star 4 are my favorite games on the collection.

This one might sound a little out of your type but Mutant League Football is really fun.

It isn't even on this compilation, so it isn't an option.

As far as what's on that compilation, I highly recommend Shinobi 3 and Phantasy Star 2.

Kind of a goofy question. If you have it, then I recommend that you give each game on it a shot. Why not?

Thanks for not wanting to look like a dick. :)

Honestly there are a ton of games on that compilation, and I know for sure some of them are total crap. I got 3 kids and my wife works nights so it would take me years to play all of those games. My point in asking the question was to see if there were one or two games on there I knew nothing about, but that a few people would mention. Perhaps then I would stumble across an unknown gem and have a great time. Right now it looks like Kid Chameleon is a stand out title. Thanks for the help folks!
