50 Cent bulletproof PS2 problem

Hi, I've got a problem with 50 Cent bulletproof for the PS2.

When the game loads it gets stuck at the memory card screen and just stops there and when I press the X button nothing happens.

I'm certain its the game and not the PS2 as the PS2 plays all other PS2 & PS1 games, CDs and DVDs with no problems at all.

Any advice on what to do?

I have cleaned it about 3 or 4 times each with cd cleaner and brasso and it has a few minor scratches but nothing too major. The only thing I think could possibly be causing it is a few minor blotches on the disc. Top of the disc is fine with no problems.

I've had discs that looked fine, top and bottom, and just wouldn't work. Sometimes you just get a dud. But if it's hanging on the memory card screen, have you tried it without a memory card in? Or maybe its file is corrupt and its causing it to hang?

Yeah, sounds like the disc no workie.

Nero has a program called CD DVD Speed that can also scan a disc to see if there is any bad sectors on the disc. It's free, google around for it and try it out.
