I see prices all over the place for this game. The local Play N Trade has a copy under glass for $59.99.

I know it's not rare or anything, but is it really desirable or something?

It has a great soundtrack and sorta meh gameplay IMHO. Allthough it is fun to play a guitar as a skeleton and has an Entertaning storyline. I think I sold my last copy for $20. I wouldn't pay more for it. I think I've found the game 3 different times in the wild.

$15 is about right, yeah. It's not super rare, but it has a lot of cross appeal based on:
- Skeleton factor
- Music game factor
- Ronnie Montrose

Yikes, 59.99 is a steep. I'd actually go far enough to say that as much as $30 is still "fair." At $15 or even $20 its a definite buy: its one of those really odd games where there's nothing else quite like it.

I may have to score another copy. I miss that game, the cut scenes were balls.

Visually and musically, mr. Bones is stunning. It was way ahead of the curve. And it suffered the same fate as a lot of games that were ahead of the curve: it found a small dedicated audience but it was too "strange" for the average player. The other main point against it becoming huge was that as incredible as it is, it was an artistic experience in search of a game, and they never quite nailed the game part down as tightly as they could have. It's still a title that no Saturn owner should be without, and no classic gamer should miss out on playing it whether they own a Saturn or not.
