I know this might sound stupid but, Will an american save file of shenmue work with a import save file of Shenmue 2,And my second question is,Will I have to change my Shenmue 2 import dreamcast game disc with the import game adapter everytime I'm finsihed with a certain disc.(for example:Disc 1-import game adapter-disc 2)If anyone has info, please tell me.Thank you :)

First Q: Not sure on this one, sorry.
Second Q: Yes, chances are you'll have to reboot. I have not played mine yet to see for sure so YMMV.
I guess that's not been too much help now has it?!? @_@ If I get a chance tonight I'll give er a shot and let you know what happened.

I don't have an answer for your first question either (will the US Shenmue save work with import Shenmue 2) but I can tell you that I switched back and forth between US and Japanese versions of Phantasy Star Online and v2 and they were completely INCOMPATIBLE. Only the Japanese version would work with the Japanese "upgrade". Had to start all over or go through a fairly complex process using your GameShark to get around it.

Nope, it doesn't work. There's a way that involves you going online and hacking your save file to change its region to japan or europe (whatever your copy of S2 is from), but beyond that, you're out of luck.

yes, you have to re-up the conversion disc every time you switch from one disc to another. See also "pain in the ass."

I just found out that I don't have to put the import game adapter everytime I'm finished with a certain disc of shenmue 2. :D

If you have the Innovation game adapter, your in luck. You would only have to put the disc once and put the game in.When you finish with that disc and when you put in the 2nd disc in,it automatically starts without you having to change the disc at all.And I have not had a problem since then. :D
