I spent the past week driving west from Oklahoma. In 2,700 miles, my family and I managed to see Carlsbad Caverns, the Grand Canyon, Roswell, Meteor Crater, and of course, Vegas. We saw a lot of things in Vegas, one of which was the Pinball Hall of Fame's new location. I visited the old location in 2007 while attending CGE. The new location is much roomier.

I didn't split them out from the rest of my vacation pix, but if you want to see pictures of the new location, start here and you'll see them. The PHoF pics start on the bottom row.

I never knew about the Pinball Hall of Fame. So definitely, thanks for sharing about it. I guess I know one thing I will be doing next time I go!

When were you in Las Vegas? I happened to be there just last week.

I was there last week, too.

The Pinball Hall of Fame is off Tropicana, maybe a mile off the strip. It's right across from the Liberace Museum, for what it's worth. Like I said, I went there in 2007 with Ubikuberalles and I can't remember who else and the aisles were so close that if 2 people were playing pinball machines back to back, you couldn't get down the aisle. There's a lot more room now.

I don't know if you can tell the difference, but pictures of the old location are located here. They start at the bottom row of this page:

We hit several arcades, including the one in the MGM Grand, Gameworks, and the Pinball Hall of Fame. For classic arcade games, the PHoF is the place, for sure. I'm guessing they had 50 or so classic games. I know I played Missile Command, Space Invaders, Tron, Excitebike, Paperboy, Frenzy, Wizard of Wor, and lots of others. Gameworks has a small retro selection of about half a dozen games.

I wanted to visit Insert Coin(s), but it's adults only and we had the kids with us.

Wow, looks like a nice place. So many mechanical pins!!!

I would love to go there, wish there was a place like that on the east coast!

Never heard of it but it'll be at the top of my list of things to check out next time I go to Vegas. Last time I was there I had a decent enough time at one of the casino arcades. I don't remember which one it was. I remember it had Gauntlet Legends and I was really excited because it was finally an arcade game that my wife would enjoy playing with me.

I am lucky enough to live here in Vegas. I would HIGHLY recommend Insert Coins. Also recommended is Sega's Gameworks, and of course the Pinball Hall of Fame. There is also an arcade in several of the casinos. If anyone is coming to Vegas let me know - would love to hook up with some fellow DP'ers! I am very happy to live in a city that still has awesome arcades to this day.
