Does anyone know if there is a difference between the controller that comes with the slim ps3 that just says sixaxis and feels lighter than the ps3 controllers that have dualshock3 and sixaxis on them and are heavier? Do they both have the rumble feature or any differences besides weight? I looked around and couldn't find any info. Thanks.

The plain sixaxis lacks rumble. Should be the only difference. Aside from dualshock3's higher retail price.

sony also released a controller for ps2 without rumble. Except chances are won't find one any longer without assistance. That was a later release quietly placed on store shelves a few years ago, then forgotten by most people.

I've never even heard of the no-rumble PS2 pad.
Was it still called DualShock 2?

All slims come with a Dualshock 3.

If you bought a used one you were not given the controller that was originally paired with the unit.

I like how much lighter the Six Axis controllers are compared Dualshock 3. Feels almost weightless. Anyone have any either new or very good condition Six Axis controllers they're interested in selling for cheap?
