Just received in the mail today the last PAL Dreamcast game i needed to complete my Dreamcast Eurosclusive game set... thus completing my set of all games officially released in the US and Europe.

i do have a handful of Japanese games of the shelf on the left as well, and the goatstore games... along with some other odds and ends. check it out!

Congrats! I wish I had a kiosk to go with my collection! Nice with the Euro exclusives too, I've been extremely slowly obtaining the entire PAL set, but I'm still missing one or two of the exclusive games. I love that case design!

Meh, it's just the Dreamcast, man. Hardly worth "bragging" about. :)

The only PAL game I have is Shenmue 2.

And I'm not even sure how THAT ended up down here. :P

What was the hardest PAL exclusive to get? I assume Taxi 2?

I'm also curious to hear about the OPs recent experiences. I pretty much finished my US and PAL exclusive game collections just after the Dreamcast was winding down, so I suspect things may have been much easier back then. In fact, I recall paying something like US$20 shipped for a sealed mint Taxi 2. I couldn't believe the ending price on a new copy of Giant Killers a few months back, US $150, which is shocking considering it's a pretty standard european soccer management simulator. It makes me wonder what the rest of the PAL library has been like price and availability wise lately.

Nice collection. Speaking of which, I think the Dreamcast kiosk is the most aestically pleasing of them all. Sleek, refined and an excellent center piece as well.

i completed my US collection in 2005... and have very slowly been picking up the PAL exclusives.

i knocked out the "big ones" early on... shenmue 2, rez, headhunter and taxi 2... taxi 2 i suppose is still the most difficult to find. i think i paid $40 for it a few years back. the last few i needed to get were some of the racing games. fishsandwich on the forums here helped me get the last i needed... aqua gt, which i was having difficulty finding on ebay.com AND ebay.co.uk (although one did just did get sold on ebay.co.uk for about $40).

the kiosk came from Carey85, he snagged it on cincinatti craigslist about 3 years ago.

collection includes all the Sega All-Star variants, but none of the NFR or "hot new" variants.

not really sure what i want to do with pursuing more JP games... i do want to snag a few of the shooters, but it'll be a slow process.

Great collection man. How much did you pay for the kiosk? Seeing Rez on it makes me wanna go play my dreamcast now.

Nice collection, is that Dreamcast deodorant? And count me as another fan of your kiosk, haha. Does it have a VGA monitor?

I don't collect Dreamcast, but you have a sweet collection! The Kiosk makes it seem so much more official.
Now that the Dreamcast collection is complete, what are you moving onto next?

the kiosk doesn't have a VGA monitor, sadly. and that's a Dreamcast branded Quake 3 Arena Thermos. i guess it was a giveaway somewhere... i picked it up from Queen of Felines at MGC years ago.

i don't really "actively" collect anything in particular nowadays... i spread my interest around, picking up whatever i find cheap in thrifts and on craigslist. I suppose the next collections i will slowly try to knock out are SMS (need 9 more games) and NES (need about 60... but there are a few i will likely never own... you know the ones)

Thanks! Im going to try and collect them now. Right now I only have Shenmue II, Rez, Headhunter and Evil Twin. Anything special with these releases that I should know of? I mean like are there any maps or bonus discs included w/ any games or limited edition variants etc? I see that Planet Ring includes a mic, is tis the only game that includes something other than the case/manual?

Thanks again for posting this list.

yeah, the Planet Ring is the only one that comes with anything additional. has a big box with the mic and game. you can sort of see its box sitting behind the dreamcast calculator on the top right of the shelf in the pic.

If you're buying a copy of Rez specifically, there was a run of them that was apparently bad. They pulled and replaced a bunch of the games, but apparently some of them were still sold. So, if you are getting a sealed copy of Rez with the intention to open it, there is a real chance that you will get one with a bad disc that the seller has no way of knowing.

I bought one after hearing about that whole debacle that was both sealed and cheap because it is supposedly of the run that doesn't work. I have another copy for playing which works.

Beyond that, Shenmue I and II have a cardboard slip cover to keep the two cases near each other.
