If you want a great game right NOW, go get Advance Wars 2, which is completely awesome.
If you are wanting to wait, I think it releases on September 1st, get Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, which looks like a must-buy, at least for me anyways.

Metroid Fusion is one of the best games I've played on ANY system lately.

I'd say Lunar Legend, it's a great game and it's relatively cheap new. I got my copy for 20 bucks brand spankin' new.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow.
Trust me, you will NOT be sorry you bought it. BEST game boy advance game by far.

Here's the GBA games on your list I either allready own and love or plan on getting:
Advance Wars 2 (no need for the first)
Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow (better then Harmony of Dissoance, a GREAT Castlevania game)
Zelda: Link to the Past (very nice port)
Metroid Fusion (the REAL Metroid 4)
Wario Ware (Truly unique bunch of games here)
Harvest Moon (love all the games)
Final Fantasy Tactics Advanced (How can I NOT get this one?)
I also plan to get the remake of the first Mana game and Super Mario Brothers 3.
I'd also suggest Wing Commander: Prophacy, which pushes the GBA to the edge of it's graphics (especily when played on a Game Boy Player) and Orge Tactics.
Recently I've also been replaying some of the best GBC games, like Metal Gear Solid, Crystalis, and Bionic Commander. And the three Zelda games.

Mega Man Battle Network is also very cool. And I second Advanced Wars.
If you do MM, get the Blue Version, its harder

Hmm. This can be a tricky choice, seeing as how many great GBA games can be found for under $20.
Just this past week, I found new copies of Pinball of the Dead and Pac-Man Collection for $15. What a steal!
For $20, you can get Lunar, which is a terrific RPG from the Sega CD (later on PS1), great characters, looks wonderful, etc.
I'm a racing fan, so I got Moto GP for $20 -- who can pass up 4-player Super Hang-On?
And I found Kelly Slater's Pro Surfer for $15. If you like the Tony Hawk "extreme" sports games, this is a no-brainer. Yes, I realize I am probably the only one who loves this game, but it really clicks with me, and is loads of fun (btw, I just won the final beach competition! Whoo-hoo!).
Advance Wars 2 is a must-buy, but it's $30 now, so maybe you should get the first AW. They're both wonderful and deep strategy games with an emphasis on story and characters, so you'll be playing for months. The second is more difficult, definitely made for the fans who played the original to death, but you can still pick it up.
Motoracer Advance can be had for $25-30, depending on where you look. Another great racing title, another one I'm always bragging about.
Super Monkey Ball -- $20. Need I say more?
Car Battler Joe -- $20. Too unique and clever to pass up.
Hope that helps you. Try to look around past the big-name titles and SNES ports, and you'll find a lot of good stuff. Once that college education starts paying for itself, you can shell out the cash for all the other games.

I second that notion. I see the first Advance Wars all over the place for $20 new, too. And you can get deals on Pinball of the Dead ($15) and if you're lucky, Konami Arcade Advance. I'd bet Konami Krazy Racers is also dirt cheap, if you want a cool kart racer (but I didn't see any racers on your list).
As far as the stuff on your list, I don't have any of it, so I can't really say! :)

I would sayit comes down to these four if I had to choose:
Castlevania - Same as all the other GBA castlevania games, GREAT game, no replay value (for me)
Metroid Fusion - Same as castlevania, except better.
Advance Wars - Don't bother getting both the first and the second advance wars, I hear they're almost Identical, if you're looking for a strategy game, this has a TON of replay value. Each mission takes a long time, and there are a ton of extra maps and features. Only down part is, it's not my type of game, and each battle can take 20 minutes to an hour.
Wario Ware - GREAT GAME. I would pick this one. You can literally play for 1 minute or an hour. Unlimited replay value, full version of Dr. Mario (Dr. Wario) included. Tons of bonus stuff, just a HUGE AMOUNT OF GAMES to play. Ten out of Ten! Wooohooo! Go Wario! Yay!
Yes, I love wario ware. It's my second favorite handheld game of all time (After tetris of course)

Yeah but replay value is about nil for almost every GBA game that features a linear progression (Metroid Fusion, Castlevanias, etc.). Nothing changes the second time around except maybe Samus shows up in a skimpier outfit, so it's like why bother.
I myself thought that Fusion got pretty difficult towards the end, and I didn't really enjoy it as much as, say, Metroid Prime because it felt completely constraining. Too many points in the game where they stuck you in some area where the only way out was by shooting one teeny-tiny brick in one corner of the area with a specific weapon - and the brick just happened to look like all the other bricks around it, too. At least in Super and Metroid II and Metroid they gave you a few places to go instead of trapping you in a really confined space.
I would also second the GBC games like the Zelda oracle duo and / or Crystalis. The Zelda duo especially are two very good games...Capcom + Nintendo = R0><0R.

Of the games you've mentioned, Metroid Fusion is easily my favorite. Though it's shorter and more focused than the previous Metroids, it's more compelling and, I'd say, more memorable. There are plenty of opportunities for exploration, though they're not emphasized by the game's directions.
However, you couldn't go wrong with Advance Wars 2, Wario Ware, Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, or Tactics Ogre: The Knight of Lodis (which you didn't mention, but I like it too much to ignore here). Of course, if you're running low on cash, perhaps a cheaper game might be in order. You might be able to find Shantae for fifiteen bucks . . .

For gaming on the go, I like Advance Wars 2 & WarioWare. They're both good in small bits. Although Advance Wars can get lengthy if you try to complete the latter missions in one setting.

Konami Arcade Classics. It's cheap, it's good. Buy it if you haven't already.
If you HAVE, then I guess the new Castlevania would be my recommendation. It's not cheap, but it's long and deep, and the soul system offers a tremendous amount of variety.

Ah, the Konami classics. That's probably the best of all the classics carts on the Advance. I've been looking everywhere for a copy, but no luck so far.
BTW, what is everyone's thoughts on the Atari arcade classics? I enjoy it for Asteroids, but I'm not too sure if the other games really click for me. They're all great, of course, but maybe I'm missing the fun of 4-player Battlezone or a 4-player Warlords.
And Tactics Ogre is terrific. Now there's a game that you'll be playing for a long time. Lots of depth and multiple endings -- great stuff.
There's so many good games for under $20, it's better to just collect those until the newer games come down a bit.
