I was talking to a friend at work the other day about bizzare game genie/gameshark codes that we have come up with in the past.
a few of mine:
super mario bros.
sueisa: enemies become powerups
stageo: all enemies throw hammers
contra
apzlgk: randomizes levels and makes crazy stuff show up
What are some of your favorate bizzare (non-codebook) codes you've come up with?

super mario bros.
sueisa: enemies become powerups
I always used poeisa... enemies when touched gave you the last powerup you grabbed. Great after nabbing a 1up. Wonder what the difference is, if any.

PS1 Gameshark Codes. I made these myself:
Beyond the Beyond:
Characters appear giant in-battle codes. Funny if all are used at once, but easier to see the effects if used on only one character at a time.
Giant Finn - 80114A00 FFFF
Giant Annie - 80114A88 FFFF
Giant Percy - 80114B10 FFFF
Giant Samson - 80114B98 FFFF
Giant Edward - 80114C20 FFFF
Giant Tont - 80114CA8 FFFF
Giant Domino - 80114D30 FFFF
Giant Lorele - 80114DB8 FFFF
Can you see the pattern in the codes' digits? I found Percy's first by mistake while looking for an infinite HP code for Domino by studying code patterns that were already listed. Not very many Domino codes were posted online and I don't think there were any for Lorle at the time. A mistake in calculation got me to realize the true patterns for everyone and eventually I figured out these in-battle size modifier codes.
I also got all the missing infinite stat / quick level gain codes for the remainder of the characters. I have not shared any with the world till this day. I probably should. All the codes are stored only on my old Gameshark CDX card and it would be a shame if it stopped working one day.

now I need to dig out my copy of beyond the beyond, I remeber messing around and totally screwing up my party as the level up system was a little odd in that game.

Well since Goldeneye was the game I hacked the most back in the day, I would have to say Messed Up Walls/Graffiti 800214DF 0001 was one of my favorites, useless code just trippy and weird. Of course with Goldeneye there are so many stupid codes that it would take all day to list them, I mean ever wonder what Goldeneye would look like on the Playstation? 800210AC 0044

When I was little, I would put in so many Game Genie codes in NBA Jam such as Infinite Turbo and Super Dunk.

My favorite was probably the "Mario Runs Backwards" code for Super Mario 64. I don't remember what the code was off the top of my head, but it was always fun to use when friends where over, just to see their reactions to Mario moonwalking through stages

I absolutely loved the God mode code of Super Mario Kart. Makes me want an actual working copy of a SNES Game Genie...

The one that turned off random battles in Lufia and the Fortress of Doom. I don't think I ever would have finished that game otherwise.

Super Smash Bros. (N64) - Press down on Dpad to make an item drop. You could cause items to drop faster than having them on very high. Doing that with all explosives was utter chaos.
Super Mario Bros. - IKAAAE
Your NES will FREAK OUT.
And it's not just Super Mario Bros. that screws up with IKAAAE. I've seen some pretty severe screw-ups with MegaMan 4 through MegaMan 6 using that code as follows:
-Music as slow as on a PAL NES
-No enemies appear at all in MegaMan 4 except at the very beginning of the stage
-MegaMan 4's color palette gets screwed up and the stage graphics glitch up
-MegaMan 5's collision detection gets so badly screwed up with IKAAAE that MegaMan takes damage WHEN ONE OF HIS SHOTS HITS AN ENEMY! LOL
-MegaMan 6 is the best; I can't really describe what happens without showing direct capture from my NES, but holy crap, what happens is just messed up
IKAAAE has become my favorite Game Genie/GameShark code just because of how much it screws up games. I wonder if there's something similar to this on the Super NES and Genesis Game Genies.

Damn, I must have not been using my gameshark to the fullest of it's ability, I remember I loved walk through doors and invisibility in goldeneye. I would have a blast walking up to people and shooting them in the nuts. :)
