I have a Dina and would like to place a general value to it. The guide lists is as a rarity of 10, so it must be valuable or it isn't that rare can someone help me out because I have to test mine and figure out if it works of not. When I plug it in and turn it on it has static, I can only test it with a CV game, does any one have a SG1000 game you could lend me to see if ifs just the slot. Something as rare as this needs to not be broken.

Typically, items listed as rarity 10 in our guide are "name your price" or "come to what seems like a fair transaction with the seller". This is one of those times.

A hardcore ColecoVision fan might pay big big bucks for this simply because it's a piece of hardware that may never be turned up again to fill his or her collection, whereas a casual collector may not expect to pay much at all.

I can tell you that if *I* were asked how much I'd pay for one, I'd throw a number out there around $200, and I'ld go up as high as $250, maybe $300 including trade items. But we've got one of these in the CGE Museum so this isn't a real offer either.

Hope this helps! I'd like to hear what Will Berdan would pay. He's often my benchmark on ColecoVision values :)

I have a DINA 2 in 1 also and I thought mine was broken too. On channel 3 and 4 I got nothing but static and sound. Then about a year or so after having it in my collection I tried changing the channel to 13 and presto it worked. All I have to say is duh. :)

Mine is barely used in near mint condition. I haven't been able to test the SG-1000 slot because I've never found a cart for it (even on eBay.) I have read that the SG-1000 slot doesn't work on many units ...

I'm always looking for rare NES games and Vectrex items. If anyone's interested in a trade drop me a line at arczero@cox.net

It's funny that there worth big bucks. They sold like 10 of them MINT in box at the ATARIAGE booth last year. i picked one up cause i had no background on the system besides its not common. But they were only $40 bucks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! From the sounds of it im pretty happy I picked one up, BOXED! :-D :-D :-D

i've got a dina that i grabbed off ebay for $40ish, i dont think anybody else ever bothers to search for them. to be honest with you its a pretty flakey system thats built poorly, take it out play the built in game a few times and then put it back on the shelf.

as for all these prices and rarities there needs to be some clarification. so you have the telegames 2 in 1 (not the sears telegames brand) and you have the dinavision 2 in 1 which are in fact the same thing. IIRC the telegames version was cheap and then their warehouse was destroyed??? one version has the 2cnd cart slot disabled? based on what i've seen i'd guess the value to be closer to $100.

I sold one on ebay last summer and got about 30 bucks for it.

Telegames sells them, or at least used to. Apparently, you cannot properly play certain ColecoVision games (keypad), and they have a tendency to overheat. They are not very well built, apparently, so be careful.

These were selling for under 50 bones last winter online (several different vendors).
I got one from a local gaming friend for free. It overheats, so I dont use it (plus I have an Adam and a CVision)...

Although they're essentially the same thing, the DINA 2-in-1 and the Telegames 2-in-1 are significantly differeint in value. Telegames' unit is much cheaper. Someone has probably already done this research but if not, remind me to ask them at CGE what happened with this. I always presumed they bought the license and started slapping their own labels on them. The box is different too.

I've only seen ONE DINA in my hunting travels, but the Telegames one appears fairly often.
