GameStop says 9/13/11 (http://www.gamestop.com/nintendo-3ds/games/pinball-hall-of-fame-williams-collection-3ds/90116). Maybe the date will change or maybe they just stopped taking preorders for it. All other online sites say TBA 2011.

I'll buy this one as soon as it's out, for sure.

Allgame also has the date set at September 13th. They show some screenshots, but they don't look like they are from the 3DS version.

I'd love to see this one on 3DS, especially after the short print run on 360 and PS3.

But this version only has 7 tables. The PS2 version had 8, the PSP/Wii version had 10, and the 360/PS3 version had 13.

I wonder if there are more tables that are unlockable.

I wonder if there are more tables that are unlockable.

They count down the tables in their trailer and conclude it by saying something like "7 Classic Tables".

I don't think they'd undercut the total in their marketing if there was more.

The only people that should get this are the Pinball Hall of Fame or 3DS completionist (I'm sure there's a few people with the crazy notion of maintaining a complete 3DS collection during these early days of few releases when it's easy), people that want a pinball game for their 3DS, Pinball Hall of Fame fans intrigued at playing a few tables in 3D, or people that really want a portable version that don't own a PSP.

Anyone that wants to experience this game for the first time or wants the definitive version with the most tables and best graphics, would be best served looking at the 360 and PS3 versions. They're not expensive, even if they did get a short print run.

No Medieval Madness?

No thanks!

Well, maybe if I ever come across the game in the far flung future for next to nothing I'll bite ... but without my favorite pin (which was beautifully recreated on the PS3 and 360 collection) I'll pass at full MSRP.
