I found Rise of the Dragon and Sonic CD for under 10 bucks together at a thrift store today, and I had to snatch 'em up. Only problem is I don;t yet have a Sega CD

Both the sega CDs I ever owned I found in a pawn shop and a mom n' pop store, in that order.
I lately also saw a flea market seller who has a Model 1 sitting around. I'm thinking of getting it and a Model 1 Genny just to complete the set.

Nice find on the Sega CD games.
I have seen a few Sega CD systems in video game stores, but they are about the same price as they are on E-bay. As far as finding them in thrift stores, there's always a chance, but at the stores around where I live, I'd be lucky if I can find a Sega Genesis.

Craigslist is where I get most of my old gaming equipment and games just be careful because getting mugged and your car stolen will ruin your day.

I picked one up via craigslist and one at Midwest Gaming Classic. I always used to find them at local game stores when I had no money. Just spend all of your money on other stuff and you'll find one.

I found mine at a now defunct video game store in 2007.

I found mine on shopgoodwill.com they are sometimes cheaper than ebay. If you find one where you live you can pick it up for free.

Shopgoodwill is nice but sometimes their shipping rates are more ridiculous that Ebay

I grabbed a model 2 Genesis/Sega CD combo at a local high school benefit flea market last weekend. Wasn't planning on getting it, but it will be a nice backup to my X'Eye.

I'd look on Craigslist. I found a model 2 genny/cd that has the RGB mod for $40 with about 7 garbage games. I actually ended up trading an extra N64 for it but still, $40.00 is a great deal.
