and I think here is too one Not For Resale game in the set:

So the question, are these games Rare, or just sold with the Genesis console as one seller write? @_@
I have first think these are Promo games, but now it seems that these are only normal games, which was sold with the Genesis. Does someone know more about these games with NOT FOR RESALE print?

I have bid on one, but when its not Rare, then the shipping is maybe a bit to high for this game. :o

Those were the pack-in versions. Nothing rare at all.

And is the Not For Resale print only on box and cartridge? I can't see it on the instruction.

Is the instruction the same as the normal release?

On my Sonic the Hedgehog, "not for resale" is printed on the box, there's a "not for resale" sticker on the cart, and the instructions are normal.

The sonic game may not necessarily be a pack in. I remember there was an offer to get the game free if you sent away for it and just bought the Altered Beast system (it said not for resale on it). I actually still have the approx 12" cardboard standup for the coupon holder from the local game store for this offer.

Since the receipt was double ply (and the last purchaser of a Genesis did not take his receipt), I snagged that receipt and got two copies of Sonic for free (snagged the UPC of the Genesis display boxes too to send it in). Yep, I was a bastard. I stole from Sega.
