Action Replay trouble with Dead or Alive

I have the Action Replay Plus version 2.02 for the Saturn. Previously, the only Japanese game I've used it with was Vampire Savior, which worked fine, but when I try to play my DoA disc it gets stuck at the loading screen. Any suggestions?

You've done all the basics like reseating the AR cart right?

I have 2.02 and it works fine. Maybe your disc is scratched.

^Yeah, it was a scratch issue. Went at it with some cleaner, though, and now it works fine. I'd forgotten how easy this game was, though. Ripped through the game without a single loss as Jann Lee in only my 2nd time playing in around 10 years
