Aksys Games announced two new PSP games at Anime Expo for release in North America: Fate/Extra and Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (http://www.otomate.jp/hakuoki_psp/). Hakuoki is a historical drama taking place during the Warring States (Sengoku) Period told from the perspective of a female lead who is searching for her missing father alongside a unit of swordsmen. The game is a Japanese RPG at its core but also contains girl-dating-guys elements with plenty of conversations happening below character portraits.
The link above goes to the Japanese Web site for the game (there is no Western site yet) where wallpapers can be downloaded and artwork can be seen. It looks like there are five different guys from which the main character can choose.
Though I don't own a PSP (and think that a DS release for this game would have been wiser), I might look into buying this game if I did. Perhaps some guys mind playing as a girl in their games, but personally I don't care as long as the characters are well-developed and believable, and the story is engrossing.
