I've been seeing this item come up a few times on Yahoo! auctions, and sell for crazy amounts (much more then the suggested price in the DP guide 7).
but one thing that I learned in the guide, that I didn't know (and I guess now saved me a lot of $$$) is that the memory for this device is on eeprom which gets forever lost after the battery dies!
How stupid is that!?
Anybody have one of these devices?? There's gotta be someone with it, and smart enough to be able to dump the EEPROM, burn it to a similar non-volitile EEPROM and make the device usable forever. Better yet, if the company doesn't exist, let's try to make our own!
