Was curious as to what one of these systems would go for now?

Anywhere from $500 to $1,000, depending on the day of the week, the tide, moon positioning, etc.

That was what I had gathered from looking up posts from the past, was hoping the range had narrowed some. I can never catch an ebay auction on it (if one ever happens) or I wouldn't have asked at all.

You know you can save ebay searches and be alerted if any matches turn up, right? If you have one set up, you shouldn't be missing any of those auctions.
Sorry if I misinterpreted your post, and you do in fact know.

Actually I didn't know that! lol I haven't used ebay in years and years, except for the odd lookup now and then. Thanks Callin!

The most recent sale data I remember seeing was this auction:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220786179866&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT
May 25th, $1,305 with 12 games included. So yes, auctions do pop up, but I don't see anyone snagging one for under $1,000 unless it's a BIN that you found ASAP. GL in your search bud.
