I recently got a 3DS and have begun to amass a sizable collection of faces. So far I am up to thirty-one and was wondering if anybody knows if the maximum number of faces I can have is hard limited or if it is limited by the available memory on the SD card.

Also, feel free to share some of the faces in your collection.
Some of my faces include Kirk, Picard, Goatee Spock, Chuck Norris, Mr. T, Mario, Fox McCloud and Garry Shandling.

This was pretty fun and got boring after a while. I just took pictures of my various bandmates and their friends' from photos they gave me to scan. I did throw Sonic the Hedgehog in there for laughs though. The craziest thing was when it was a picture of someone who died yet they are looking alive on the game.

It looks like you're right about it being a programed limit, since I just discovered that the faces are stored in internal memory (gotta make sure there will be plenty of room for Miis). However, I am not sure I understand your reasoning unless you are thinking of something like a score counter, which is not what I am talking about. My face collection is not that of preprogrammed faces, but rather a collection of faces that I have taken from people. In other words, I am a face snatcher and my apparatus for storing faces has a limited capacity of which I am endeavoring to discern so that I may better prioritize whose faces I should take for my collection.
