Hello fellow collectors,

I have a copy of the elusive Daytona CCE Netlink Edition for the American Sega Saturn. I've had this title since I bought it new from Sega in the 90s where I had a complete Netlink collection. I've since gotten rid of everything except this title, because I knew it was hard to find.

But I am in a situation now where I want to possibly sell it. I have seen a couple instances on google where people are talking about prices, but nothing concrete and the archived posts were anywhere from 2006 to 2009. I also notice that the online rarity guide here is down =[ (or maybe it doesn't like chrome)

I want to avoid the auction sites and make sure it gets in the hands of someone who needs it for their collection (ala the sales forum here), so I need to know a jumping off point for price since I always hate it when someone says "make me an offer."

I would appreciate any insight from someone with experience buying or selling this title.

Thank you

More of these have been popping up since Sega-Parts was bought out, I would say it's still a $600-800 title

DreamTR, thanks for the price data. I appreciate it.

I actually saw you in one of the google archives discussing this around 2006 or so, how time flies!

I got another quote of 400, so as of right now I'll assume an average of about 550 on the balanced end.

Now that the Guide is back up I noticed that the rarity it lists is an 8 out of 10 with a price of $200 for a complete copy. Keep in mind though that is the minimum price which a collector would be likely to sell it for and that price was last updated as of 2008. I'd say to account for inflation and the "seller's premium" by definitely adding to it for your asking price.

Did Sega Parts actually get bought out? I thought they were just selling games on Ebay and a case or so of this particular game was slowly trickled out. Their website is still there, although it seems a little broken in spots.

There were at least 3 complete copies of the game that sold on eBay last year at auction and every one sold between $700-800. There was also one factory sealed one that sold for $1111.11.

That's true! I was following Saturn sales pretty hardcore last year.
