It seems like nowadays, unless you've got a video game starring your band, you're less a band and more a bunch of broke people hanging out -- Linkin Park proved that (http://www.joystiq.com/2010/03/31/the-retro-style-linkin-park-iphone-game-youve-always-wanted/). Now, hot on its heels, Incubus has debuted its own Flash game: Incubattle (http://www.enjoyincubus.com/us/incubattle).

Incubattle is a beat-'em-up that takes heavy inspiration from last year's retro-inspired licensed title Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (http://www.joystiq.com/game/scott-pilgrim-vs-the-world). Picking one of the band's five members, you'll take to the streets and combat a whole platoon of pirates aiming to steal the band's latest album. We imagine that's an everyday occurrence when you're in a band people know.

"Oh no - people who want to listen to our music! Let's beat the shit out of them."

Incubus sucks shit. Wont be playing this for any reason, especially if their lame music is abundant throughout.

Pretty much this. They were decent ten or fifteen years ago, but they haven't produced anything of worth since.

The only band inspired game I liked is Beavis and Butthead with GWAR. Finding pieces of a ticket to see their show. :)

I hope there's Revolution X-style levels.

I never heard of this band. Since I'll respect their wishes and never pirate it, I'll never know who they are.

I played the first few levels, like games of old, '3' lives means 2, as when I died at the boss battle, when I hit 1 life, game was over.

It was plagued by some weird stuttering w/ the music and game at parts. A real simple beat em up. Music was all '8 bit' and nothing sounded like an Incubus song I recognized, and they were a band I followed well before 'SCIENCE' came out, though a Crow Left of Murder was their last album bought, its crappyness made me sad.

Hopefully all proceeds will go to the broke, homeless DJ they fired years ago when they completely sold out. Maybe now he can get rid of his "Will scratch for food" sign.
