Cadash: Differences between English and Japanese versions?

The Turbografx-16 / PC-Engine versions:

Obviously the text is going to be translated but is one version harder/better than the other? Working Designs has a habit of drastically changing things - curious on this.

The only one I can speak of is the arcade version, might hold true to the TG-16 version, herbs cost more in the Japanese version, and heal you a bit less than in the US version. Plus you can't carry as many herbs around.
