Freeplay 2: Modern & Classic Gaming (Hampton Roads, VA)

Hello once again to those around Hampton Roads! Last year we had a blast and are running a second event on August 27, and it's FREE!

The Southeastern Virginia Gaming (SeVaGaming) group (http://www.sevagaming.com/) and Chesapeake Central Library presents,

Freeplay 2: Modern & Classic Gaming

It's the last Saturday of the month. We're looking to have Gaming on arcades, consoles, and computers with a few Competitions. We also have the rights to show a few Movies and will have a few people participate in Panels. Did we mention it is FREE?!

We will have David Hernly (www.aurcade.com) out and about ranking high scores on the arcades.

As a heads up, we just received confirmation that we'll have a few of the new Stern pinball machines at Freeplay, which includes the Tron Legacy! There's a lot stirring and it's a week away so if you can managed to come out on the 27th I'd suggest it.

Hurricane Irene has caused the city of Chesapeake to close its facilities down for the weekend; so the event is being postponed. We're going to be looking at dates to reschedule so I'll get the word out once it's known.

Me and my wife are looking forward to this. Cant wait to hear when the next date is set! Thanks for organizing a cool event like this. We were kind of let down about the hurricane, no sweat though. We went out a bought a Flash Back 2+ to satisfy our classic game urge. I'll be doing the cartridge mod when I have time. Thanks again!
