Yeah, eBay's goofed this morning. Regardless of what I search for, I will get this message 9 times out of 10:

Your search returned too many listings.
Please refine your request by adding more words in the search box (for example, "fountain pen" instead of "pen").

I'm very certain my search is pretty specific, so I'd say eBay is not happening right now. I guess I'll need to do some work at work instead of eBay browsing...

And anyway, that's a stupid example. Who buys pens on eBay? ;)

I had that problem earlier too but it seems to be fixed. I was thinking "Just how did so many 5200 items get put up on ebay?"

heh, go on ahead and type in fountain pen, see if you get too many searches... you do. Hahaha

If you use parenthesis for the title of the game it usually works. For some reason it's searching for any of the words, not all of them.

On that note, does anyone have to double click on ebay links in order to get the second instance to come up since the first appears as a 404/error page? It's been happening lately with me.

Yea, I was searching cps2 yesterday, and that message came up. After I clicked search about 10 times, it finally worked, and there was a grand total of 12 items. :hmm:

I've been having problems with the bay ever since they changed things around. I'm hoping it's just growing pains. (Actually, it's not such a bad thing, I really don't need to spend the money right now.)

I've been getting this too. And it is particularly annoying for me, because I have a big load of auctions due to finish in the next few hours, and if people can't find them then they are not going to get the last minute bidding action that I am hoping for >:(
