I haven't seen the topic of Japanese Gamecube exclusives get brought up around here yet. Many years ago I purchased a brand new Freeloader for the Gamecube for 2.69 at GS and have yet to get much use out of it. What are some worthwhile, english friendly Gamecube titles worth importing?
Thanks.
I have Dragon Drive D for Japanese Gamecube. I only picked it up 'cause it was developed by Treasure and described as a Panzer Dragoon-style game. From what I've played it isn't all that great, but I got it for a good price new several years ago.
I can't really think of many "must have" Japanese exclusives, but DDD is a nearly a must for crazy Treasure heads, I guess.

There's the remakes of Bonk's Adventure and Adventure Island.

A friend of mine got the EU version of Doshin the Giant a few years ago... sadly I never got a chance to see it in action, though. Looks pretty quirky though.

I recommend Kururin Squash (JP)--it's the third installment in a unique Nintendo puzzle game series that never made its way to the US.

I second Doshin the Giant, but get the Euro version, since its already translated. I greatly enjoyed it.

Don't forget Star Soldier!
The Puzzle Collection with Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookie and Panel de Pon is pretty sweet too.

Eh? No love for Battle Stadium D.O.N. ?
How hard is it to get one of those freeloaders, anyway? (It doesn't work with burned discs, does it?)

Also give GiFTPiA a look, although it probably contains too much text to be able to understand what's going on.

They still sell make them, and they're cheap. No they do not work with backups, or else Nintendo would've shut Datel down a long time ago.

It's either that or an Action Replay, which has a built-in Freeloader.
