had RROD on my xbox360 after running forsa 3, now i can play games after i left it for the night, but every game freezes no scatches on the discs eaither. for someone reason, can i fix my xbox of is it better to get a new one

it was a second hand one i got for like $40 so i don't think so, Xbox 360 white , no hard drive.

The newer slims are supposed to be better about not killing themselves. If they think they're going to die of heat stroke, they automatically take a nap to cool down instead.

Barring that if you can find one of the older big units that has the Jasper chipset it will more than likely not die on you. At least the failure rate is considerably lower than the previous revisions. I'd also recommend installing your games as 1. it makes far less noise and 2. it runs cooler thereby extending your consoles life.
