I should consoder sellong my iPad 2 box...at a bargain too at only $500!
I'm pretty sure the buyer did not realize (probably did not read the description) that the iPad was not included.

I cant believe this is still going on, I swear people can be retarded. I mean who honestly bids on something without reading.
Clearly this is either a joke by the bidders or the seller. You can get the top of the line 64GB iPad 2 with 3G for $850.
I'm not even sure who would be in the market to buy an iPad box. The only people who need to make their iPad "complete" (as mentioned in the auction) would be thieves who stole the iPad from someone.

Ah...this reminds me of the PS2 release days. Hundreds of "PLAYSTATION 2 BRAND NEW!!!!" auctions. And at the end of the ad, in small print:
(This auction is for the box only.)
There were hundreds of dumbasses claiming rip-offs and fraud for months, to be sure.
