Dreamcast Games $9.96 at Circuit CIty

I don't know if anyone has posted this here, but Circuit City is clearing out their Dreamcast games at $9.96 a piece. They also had some N64 and PSX games on clearence but I'm not sure if thye were $10 each or not (probably). Anyway I picked up:

I think $10 is the cheapest new DC games are going to get form now on unless they're cheapo sports titles. Most places that had them cheaper were picked over months ago. This may be the last spot to get them new.

Achika turned me on to this sale about a month ago, they were also selling N64 games for $9.96.

the DC games were already cleaned out in my store back then and the n64 games were getting low. tons of PS1 games for 9.96 but who wants em..

Disclaimer: Now I don't care for pokemon at all period, but at 9.96 for the carts and the odd n64 accessories new.. and Puzzle league is fun.

Yeah at my store at least it seemed like they only had one copy of each of the good titles and a whole bunch of those earlier sports games. I guess whoever gets to their Circuit City first wins. Luckily no one ever goes into mine (I was the only person in the store last night) so the selection was pretty good.

If you buy DC games just to play, do not get Alien Front Online, Sega's online server is permantly offline and has been for the past few months. Daytona online game is also offline only and would be really crap.

For collector wise, go ahead and get them as many frustrated gamers probably threw away the games, making the games slightly rarer. :D

Yes, except for Soul Fighter. Pass on that one. You might also be able to score Bass Fishing for $5, but it's an excellent game and still worth $10. (presuming you have the fishing controller, if not, go get one now!) :)

I checked my Circuit City based what was in this topic, but couldn't find any games marked down under $10. They had a big rack of clearance stuff (N64, some PS2 a boatload of PS1) but nothing was marked that low.

I should have asked someone to check, but I was in a hurry.

Does anyone know the specifics of the sale?

Yeah they're not marked at the lower price (one store did), but they'll ring up at $10. That threw me off too for a bit.

I passed up on at least 5 copies of Tennis/NHL/NBA 2K2s each. I had them all & didn't want to chance being stuck with them as useless trade bait.

Being unmarked helped me because the 2 N64 games were still priced $49.99.
