View Full Version : Limbo for ps3 worth it?

Hey guys just spotted limbo in the playstation store. I know it was a big hit on xbox but is it worth the 15 bucks? I keep hearing it's really short... And the ending is kinda weak?
Is there any replay value to it?
I tried the demo and it seems cool just wondering if it's worth the price tag?
What's your experience ?
I liked it quite a bit, but I don't think it's worth $15. I'd wait for a 50% off sale or get it if it comes on a compilation disc later.

I don't believe that the PS3 has any exclusive content or control features.
So, I think that you can go by the reviews for the 360 version to get an idea of what the whole of the game entails.
I really enjoyed the demo but I'm thinking that the price will drop or that it'll get a Playstation PLUS discount in the future. I'll get it then.
$10 or less seems like a more reasonable price to me.

My favorite thing to do with Limbo is have that "Justin Bieber slowed down 800%" song playing in the background while I play the game. It makes it really, really creepy.

I was just at gamestop yesterday and bought a compilation disc of Limbo/Trials HD/splosion man for 360. I don't know if they has it for the ps3 though but the game was $30.

As far as I know the PS3 doesn't get compilations like this but the 360 gets them all the time. The latest one was the Dreamcast Collection with 4 DC games from XBLA.

Limbo can also be played in it's original version, a flash game, for free. Nothing was really added to the 360/PS3 version aside from HD and Stereo.

If you enjoyed the demo, I would recommend buying it as the full game is more of the same. Dark, puzzling, atmospheric.
It's a well designed game which enjoyed from start to finish.
