Need advice on ebay problem

So I got a message from ebay saying that a lisiting that I won was removed for some reason and they gave me a list of things to do. The last thing being that if I don't recieve my item by the estimated date to open a case. So I went into my purchased section and the listing is gone I know I paid for it already and want to be able to open a case if I have to but the lisiting is not there. What can I do?

Are you really unable to do anything through eBay? If you haven't already go to "My eBay" and then from the left side thing choose "Purchase History" and see if it shows up through there. I'm only asking because there was something I had bid on (about a month ago), that I didn't even win and it was still showing up in my "Didn't Win" list, but with a small note under it saying it was removed. eBay contacted me about the item being removed, why they would when I didn't win the item I have no idea.

I've never tried it but I think you *might* be able to do something about the item by opening up a case through Paypal instead of eBay. I haven't encountered something like this but Paypal will be able to do something if eBay can't.

And of course wait for the item to arrive before you go opening cases willy-nilly.

I found it in paypal and if I have to will open a case through there. But the lisiting is nowhere to be found in my purchase history, which seems strange.

If you won or sold an item, and it was removed for any reason (VERO bitchiness, for example), it won't show up on your purchase or sale history.

But if you paid for it, then the transaction should still show up on your PayPal history.
