View Full Version : Buyer Paid May25th - Wants Refund - Can They Open a Case?

Just as the title says, a customer is saying they are going to open a case against me for their item not ariving. The thing is they paid in may, may 25th. At this point can they even do that? I thought you can't open a case OR leave feedback after the 45 day mark?
Also, just another reason i've stopped shipping internationally. Hopefully this is the last i have any problems with international sales.

I thought it was 90 days? eBay or Paypal case?

Paypal is 45 days. Not sure about eBay.

Ebay is also 45 days, however, in some circumstances, they will go beyond this limit with the intervention of one of their customer service people. I know that's what I had to do with one of those Venezuelan sellers a while back. I believe the automated buyer protection case system will automatically prevent you from filing a claim if it has been more than 45 days since you paid.

So this customer is just full of it then huh? Kinda figured as much.
