Stumbled across this. Would never pay the price the seller is asking, but it looks pretty cool. I wonder how the build quality is and what he has running under the hood/how it works. I am assuming just an emulator and simple PC set up. Looks sort of cool though I must admit.

Cool, but yeah, that's stupid money. At $100, count me in.

at $1000 you can buy a cocktail Ms. Pac-Man Cabinet, why pay $700 for a far inferior looking cabinet?

Agreed. I would probably pay $300 tops. I mean, it is cool looking and somewhat professional looking. Doesn't look like something hacked together. But his pricing is insane. Maybe it cost him a lot to build especially if he bought a brand new monitor and stuff.

At $1000 you can fill half an arcade if you have some patience and are willing to pick the machines up at the drop of a hat once the deals are found. The only cab I've ever paid "retail" for was my Galaxian cocktail at $500 but I freaking love that thing and it got me back into the hobby proper.
While I'm down with small cabinets and the cabaret class of machines in general, the smallest I can go is my MAME mini.

Very true David, I see craigslist ads all the time for a lot of different cabs for $300-400, and good games too. Recently I saw an Asteroids for $350, a Centipede Cocktail for $350, hell even a Ghosts and Goblins cabinet for $125. None are in minty shape of course, but they're all very good prices.
That's also an awesome looking mini-cab, how much did it cost you to make? I'd love to someday own my own cabinet, but at the moment the house simply has no room for one.

Didn't build the cabinet myself, it was more of a re-purposing and converting, all info here (http://www.classicplastic.net/dvgi/special-galagamultigame.html).
