View Full Version : clear plastic cases for Atari 2600 game boxes

I am considering displaying some of my Atari 2600 video game boxes. I esp. like the Activision ones. I love the artwork on these.
My son and my daughter have been grabbing them. I am wondering
if there is a clear plastic case that you can fit a box in to offer some protection.
Then I won't be so worried if they are handled.

I see that The Videogame Authority actually grades the games..

I see they have some parker brother star wars and the atari raiders of the lost ark video games pictured...

I just can't seem to find if they sell the cases

Just wondering if anyone has done this with their game boxes,

Those graded games seem to have thick plastic cases. There are thin plastic covers for many video game boxes. I have seen them for SNES and NES games, and they work well. I know there is someone who sells them (I think they are connected to GameGavel.com), though I cannot find it now and I am uncertain of they have Atri protectors.

There are some on Gamegavel and ebay I believe. They are a little more flimsy, but better than nothing.

About a dollar each. They aren't bad.

Yes, I am looking for the thin ones.

It does not have to be an exact fit. Just something
to offer some protection and stability so they do not get crushed.

That's my listing. I've got NES, SNES GB and Atari, and these will work for a few other applications. I'm looking at getting a size that fits INTV & PS long boxes
I'll sell direct for less then eBay.
