Anyone else stoked for this game? Very Borderlandsesque sure, still looks to be quite good. id and Bethesda so a win/win IMHO. Some of the creatures look straight out of Doom.

I think it looks pretty sweet. I preordered it for both PS3 & PC. Be interesting to see how much of an improvement the tech 5 is over the tech 4.

I honestly can't get too excited for it as it looks too much like everything: Fallout 3, Borderlands, Gears of War - Grungy, overblown, sepia colored games.

That being said, it honestly looks fun and introduces some cool gameplay mechanics - and it was started before any of the other games I mentioned, so we can't fault them for the visuals. Not a day one purchase for me, but I will eventually pick it up.

I doubt we see it under $20 before March 2012. Can we get Crysis 2 for $20 or less? I think I remember Crysis 2 being about $23.99 or something on sale once, but I don't remember anybody having it for $19.99, but I might be mistaken.

Bulletstorm is a game that I wanted that has dropped below $20 about 5 months after it came out, but I'm not sure that I would put Bulletstorm into the same category as Rage. Rage is Id's biggest game in a long, long time. They aren't going to give it away anytime soon.

I've got so many games on my backlog list, that it doesn't even matter. I'll just keep playing what's already on my hard drive, and wait for Steam's winter sale before I buy anything else.

I gotta say, I told myself that Dead Islan was the last game for the year at retail for the the incoming winter and with the economy, but this game is looking really good to me, as a HUGE fanboy of Borderlands (Played through 5 times) I am thinking it would be a well spent 60 beans.

I also doubt it will be down to $20 anytime soon, that's the same thing people said about 2 and a half year old borderlands, and it didn't really drop until last year.

I'm stoked for it. It's supposed to be using a new technology that generates unique textures in the environment instead of "rock formation A", "rock formation B" generic templates. From what I've read it's pretty impressive to see.

Plus itll be a great way to show off the pc I just built.

Why? The PC version looks amazing.

POSITIVES:
Gorgeous.
Great Gameply, even the racing.

NEGATIVES:
Could have had more content. Next to Borderlans and Fallout it seems a bit empty.
The story isn't strong enough.
The ending is absurdly abrupt, and the BFG makes the end of the game almost simple on the default difficulty.
