I've got a dead smaller snes. F1 fuse reads open. It has the number 1500 on it. Anyone know where to get a replacement for it? Thanks.

1.5 amp fuse. Probably find one at a Radio Shack.

Does the SNES 2 have a replaceable fuse or is it soldered in like the one in the original version / SFC?

It's a small chip fuse that's soldered to the board. Hope nothing else was taken out.

Radio shack doesn't carry the ones that fit. At least they didn't when I looked last time I needed a snes fuse. I got some on ebay for pretty cheap. Do a search for 1.5 amp picofuse.

Don't bother with picofuses unless you really want the inside to look stock. Solder a set of wires to each side of the fuse's solder pads and put in a holder for a proper glass fuse.

That way if it dies again it's extremely painless to swap in another. I do this with SegaCD model 2s as well as Dreamcasts.

I soldered 2 fuse clips, then put a 1.5amp glass fuse and it started up perfectly.
