I am so glad I waited on BttF, now I can own a disc copy. *swoon*

Be sure to at least try a demo before buying the disc. I like Telltale's games, and I have several friends there, but the console ports have been pretty lackluster in the past (thinking specifically of S&M on Wii and PS3).

BTTF is fine on PS3, and is very enjoyable from the perspective of a fan of the series - but as far as Lucasarts style point and click adventure games go, it's one of the simplest, most rudimentary and downright easy games I've ever played in that style.

Every item has one unique usage, there's no item combination, and there's little that can't be deduced by exhausting a character's conversation tree.

Still, worth playing through if you like the BTTF movies, it has their spirit and a great great ending worthy of the namesake.

Here's to hoping they publish Strong Bad; I always wanted to play that.

5 episodes. Episode 1 is pretty short. If you're good at these types of games, each episode (2-5) should take you no longer than 40 minutes if you exhaust every character's dialog options. (Could be less if you're REALLY good or if you avoid listening to all the spoken dialog.)

Nice that it's coming to Wii, though I hope that they've improved their Wii-porting skills, since the second Sam & Max game on the Wii had HORRIBLE framerate issues. Also, SBCG4AP on disc is a must, even though I already own all five episodes.

I loved adventure games and SCUMMV games that LucasArts put out, and even some others like Toonstruck (with Christopher Lloyd, ironically). Now that some are coming to consoles, anyone have a complete rundown of what is out, now?

+1 to everything he said. Simple gameplay, but great spirit & presentation. I'm also a big BttF nut. :)

It's a really great series. Along with Strong Bad, I'm looking forward to a disc copy of The Devil's Playhouse.

Guess I'll wait for the inevitable holiday sale to pick it up.

This is great news! To say I'm not a fan of digital distribution would be an understatement... I've been waiting quite some time hoping they'd do retail copies, even though I didn't think it would happen.

Strange that they aren't making any plans for 360 retail versions... maybe XBLA is so strong they don't think there would be much point?
