My Saturn one day simply started to work weird, it shows both 2-D and 3-D graphics but it's like they are out of sync or something, the games play just fine but some FMV look more blurry than usual, the fonts are not spaced properly and it shows lines or blocks above the picture with weird colors, when I moved some cables with the console closed, it appeared as if it would fix, and some graphics did but others remained with problems. Here's a picture of what the BIOS look like

Are you using RF, Composite, or Svideo cables?
Have you tried another set of cables?

The good news is that most of your Saturn is just fine. The bad news is that I personally am not sure what is wrong. I'd wager a guess that there is some sort of problem with horizontal sync but I've never seen this problem before nor would I know where to start to fix it.

I'd highly suggest asking over at www.assemblergames.com, there are people there that are quite well versed with the ins and outs of Saturn hardware.

Id Wager that the cable or the AV connector solder points to the motherboard are garbage. Im leaning towards the cable since a bad solder joint would just cut out in my experience. Since you can wiggle the cable and see improvement, id try another cable as the next step.

It's not the AV, what I wiggled was the power cord, if it were the AV, I'll see fuzziness, distortion, but not overlapped fonts, white squares over text, wrong colors in some areas of the screen. I'll try to upload more pictures later.

By the way, at www.assemblergames.com they simply mocked me, some help they turned out.

They made fun of you because the image you linked to was an attachment on these boards and didn't load up but yielded a ? box like in Mario. A custom job done for those boards which is why jokes were being cracked.

So you have noone but to blame but yourself for thin skin and lack of proper image hosting skills. Which if you noticed I corrected for you. Sometimes I have to wonder why I stick my neck out for anyone.

EDIT:
DarthCloud has posted a possible diagnosis in the thread.
