Awesome news! Swery announced during Gamescom that they're planning both a prequel and sequel to Deadly Premonition, along with an enhanced remake of the original game. Hopefully the rerelease comes to PS3 over here this time. I thought it looked interesting, but since I don't have a 360 and importing the Asian PS3 version was too expensive I never played it.
Awesome news, Deadly Premonition was what gave me that push to get a 360 and it really was quite the experience. This news is a very pleasant surprise, while I wasn't doubting a sequel, a prequel and an enhanced version of the game were something I wouldn't have expected. I don't see why the re-release wouldn't get released on the PS3, the demand was pretty high on the new defunct Ignition USA forum and I know I'd be more than willing to buy a copy as well.

Oh man, I was totally hoping for a prequel where I can just run around investigating shit. This is excellent news.
