There's a link to the website for the curious. I noticed they had a good deal on a game I'd been looking for, but I wanted to know if I could trust these people before I decided to send them any money.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, they had a good deal on something? I've seen them before, but only to laugh at their sky-high prices (NES plus common Mario games for $140, and that kind of thing).

Don't know, but they seem to be over priced on almost every NES game.

These prices are hilarious. I looked at the PSX section and saw 101 Dalmatians: $25. Ummm...

But to answer your question, no, I've never bought from them.

Edit: out of curiosity I checked out Earthbound. $199. Buddy, you can just suck the juiciest part of my ass.

Most Genesis games are $20 and up, I'm assuming that they're loose too.

Panzer Dragoon Saga for $280... Loose.

For the curious, the "good deal" I saw there was this (http://www.nintendosforsale.com/image-fight-xmultiply-playstation-p-5999.html), which is indeed the lowest price I've yet seen for this collection. I just tried to win this in eBay and thought of this site as a fallback, but the description sounds a little fishy and for all I know, they could be selling a burn. So I'm gonna wait and consider my options.

At least they've got a good deal on something. Any other decent deals on here? Or is this guy just listing titles and grabbing them off of eBay when someone buys?

Well, I'm gonna keep looking around for the Image Fight/X-Multiply collection. If I don't find it anywhere (or have it offered to me by a member here), I'll consider taking a risk and buying it from that site.

I imported a copy of Choro Q III from there a year or two ago. It was legit and in great condition. It was also the cheapest source I could find for that game.

Think I also saw a segasforsale.com and similar sites for Nintendo competitors when searching this online.

Just a sham of a page like 1dollarvideogames.com from a few years ago.

I have ordered from this site one time. They are a real site, not a scam per se, but how they work may not be to many people's liking as per my experience. If you order something common like say a SMB for NES, chances are they will have it in stock and ship it out to you immediately. If it is a harder to find/rare title, what these guys actually do is they buy it off a number of places such as Ebay, Half.com, Amazon, etc. from dealers.

When you place your order, you can actually see the process from the order invoice, i.e. they used ebay to get so and so item #insert number here....When I ordered some NES and SNES carts from them, I saw where they bought it from and the auction number...I'd go to the auction number and see that they were buying carts at the cheapest price possible (as opposed to their own they advertise on the website) and the condition would be from average to good but never excellent as in mint condition.

Now as for CD based games, like PS1 or Saturn, only if it's in New condition will you get it as a New sealed copy. If you get a used copy of anything, especially rarer titles, chances are you'll get disc only copy. Legit disc only, no burns....but still disc only. I ordered Lunacy for Saturn from them expecting full long case, manual and 2 game CDs. I instead received just the 2 game CDs in separate CD cases. Rest assured, haven't ordered from them since these debacles.

The puzzling thing is, how do they fit a NES cart into these gameboy boxes? http://www.nintendosforsale.com/battletoads-nintendo-p-51.html

Yeah, I did a bit more checking around and I don't really trust that site. The Google reviews indicate that they botch half the orders, and I can't see a part on their site that says they accept Paypal.

There's also that their description of the game is so vague.

Anyway, the Image Fight & X-Multiply collection is also available at Jap-Sai (http://www.jap-sai.com/Games/X_Multiply/X_Multiply.htm) and Play-Asia (http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-e6-49-en-70-dtx.html), as well as eBay. All three want over $100 for it, but at least you know you're getting something in good condition.

Just another game I'll have to save my pennies for.

Any new word on this site? I'm looking to buy a game from them but I have no idea if I can trust them or not.
Thank you,
Chris

The post above yours would be enough to keep me away.

Best bet is to stick to eBay or the F/S forums here at DP.

Sadly, no one here on DP responded to my WTB for this game and this site actually has it for quite a bit cheaper than anywhere on eBay. The particular game that I want, (one of two I need to finished my SNES cart-only collection), has more than doubled in price the last two months. Normally this site would be considered really expensive, but I don't think they have updated on their system on this game, so it is actually cheaper. However, I have also read a lot of bad reviews, (but also a few good ones), which had me thinking. I wouldn't consider them if I wasn't so desperate, but the reality is that I am pretty darn desperate.

Oh well, back to the drawing board.

If you REALLY want to the game, and you can't find it elsewhere, then pay with a credit card, not a debit card, and a chargeback shouldn't take much effort on your part if things don't go like they should.

Sticker shock. Atari Flashback 3 console for $99? I bought one a while back for $39 at Wal Mart.

Do not buy from this company. The owner is a thief

Ok you resurrected a post over 2 years old from the last response -- I think that demands details on the thievery.
