I read the preview and I assume you're looking for honest criticism, so here's my take as someone who's also writing a book about old school games: Your condescension towards Intellivision owners reminds me an awful lot of the mocking I had to endure for preferring the Gamecube when the "hardcore" gamers decided it was lame. You need to remember that every system has fans and good games are good games regardless of platform. Don't alienate your audience or you may lose them.

While I absolutely want a copy, and enjoyed the preview I've read, I don't know if I could give a fair review.

I can be pretty critical of grammatical and typographical errors, but when it comes to content I'm probably too forgiving.
