E-bay rip-off alert

This is far and away the worst item I've ever bought off of E-bay. Not only does it not do what it says, all it is is a $3.00 AV to S-video adapter with a cheap 3 -foot S-video cable attached to it. AVOID! I was offered a refund however, so the seller is fine, just don't buy this item!

I don't see the problem here. The auction clearly states that you just get a Composite AV to S-video converter. Though why anyone would want one is beyond me as you can't combine luma and chroma then seperate them agian and not have image loss. The only part he lies about is that this would improve your quality. It's like saying you can take an RF over to AV and improve the image and sound (ain't gonna happen.)

Sorry you got jipped for 30 bucks but you got what was stated.. a $5.00 AV to Svideo adapter. Least it wasn't a broken top loader or some other no refund high dollar item.

Remember kids, You can't take a low quality Analog video signal and make it better.. you can't.. won't happen.. can only be improved at the point of creation.

The description does sound almost like it's made just for Neo Geo system when it's not. And the claim it improves the picture is really misleading.

Lastly some S-Video devices have problem handling composite signals because the device expects the video signals to be separate and not mixed.

Beside nearly all devices that has S-Video input also has at least one composite input as well.

Huh, I want to know why you would buy that ? I've got a bunch of those, they came free with the endless amounts of graphics cards I bought over the years.

Well, my complaint was the line that talks about the improved picture quality. NOW that I know it can't be done (and that sucks), I'll be wiser in the future. The Neo-Geo part wasn't bad as he has them up for all the consoles, but stating it would improve the quality is ridiculous. Plus, the lack of a picture makes you think your getting something completely different really. I've seen a box at radio Shack that claims to do the same thing for $50. THAT'S what I was thinking. (Though I guess that won't do it either)
