View Full Version : Does the NES version of The Last Ninja have meat+opium as an item?

I saw a C64 walkthrough for Last Ninja 2 (which is the NES Last Ninja) that mentions the meat+opium item to defeat the panther.
I'd be surprised if this item made it into the NES game.
Edit: It was actually an NES walkthrough I read, but there was a lot of mention of the C64 version.

That is the FAQ I was refering to, it lists the item but I'm not convinced this isn't just copied from a C64 walkthrough. There isn't any mention of the panther or the item in the actual walkthroughs of the levels.

Check again, the FAQ mentions the panther in level 4, the office, in the walkthrough.

woah, my skimming skills have failed me, it was pretty obvious too. Gotta get them eyes checked. Even so, I'm not 100% convinced its still in there, looks like that portion of the game was edited somewhere. Heck I might just buy a copy and check myself. If they ever turn my power back on. Stupid hurricane.
