When Hitman 2 came out in North America, it had the text, "9/10 Electronic Gaming Monthly Gold Award" printed on the cover. This was incorrect, since it was the PS2 version that received that score. The Gamecube scores were 7,8, and 8.5.
Anyway, EGM talked to Eidos, and Eidos agreed to remove the score on future printings of the Gamecube version. I am curious as to whether or not Eidos followed-through on this, and if the version without the score on the cover is rare.
Do any of you have the version without the error? When I look on E-bay, I only see the "old" version, except for the listings that use stock photos. Remember, this only applies to the North American release.
