Well, my day started off horribly today. I went to like 20 different Garage Sales and I didn't find a damn thing. Only one of the 20 garage sales even had any video games at all, and they were titles that I had not interest in, and they were priced way out of line with reality.

So I go home and log onto the PC and check to see if I won anything on Ebay. Well, miraculously, I ended up winning an auction for Clockwork Knight on the Sega Saturn. FOR ONLY $2.25! Yes, that is right, 2 bucks and a quarter. I even emailed the guy the other day to see if he would ship the item Media Mail, if I ended up winning. He said no problem. It is just the CD by itself, no instructions and no case, but I don't really care about that. All I want to do is play the damn game.

Usually, whenever I buy a single game and have it shipped Media Mail, it comes out to about $1.06 for the shipping. So I'm going to actually get this game for the measley price of $3.31.

I've been trying to get this game for weeks on Ebay, but usually it ends up going for like 12 or 13 bucks or so. My limit has always been $7.50 including shipping, so I've struck out everytime. The reason I think I won this puppy, was because it was just the loose CD, and he didn't have a specified shipping cost, which scares alot of people away.

Just for the record, Anything under a pound is cheaper to be sent by first class as opposed to media mail. (1 CD weighs 1.5 ounces in a CD mailer, $.60 postage first class)

Yeah, Media Mail really should only be used for books, as first class is much cheaper. Most ebayers (myself included) ship Priority only, though, because it's quite a bit faster and the packaging is free.
