Hi guys! I know this topic pops up a lot on here, (it returns many Google hits!), but I have a specific question I'm hoping you guys can help with.
I want to buy a US SNES for use in Australia and just want to clarify something about using a stepdown transformer.
So I've read that a US SNES uses the following power input and output:
Power Input: 120V AC, 60Hz, 17 Watts
Power Output: 10V DC, 850 mA
I've bought myself a stepdown transformer (http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=MF1091&keywords=mf-1091&form=KEYWORD) (I can return it if need be ;) )rated for converting 220~240V AC to 110~115V AC, and boasting "Pure AC output for use with appliances rated 0 - 50 Watts."
My only concern is with the Hz difference. Australia runs at 50Hz and the US 60. Is this going to cause me any problems?
