Ruin is a hack and slash similar to Diablo, one of the Vita games I was interested in launch. Here's a gameplay video. Obviously it's not complete and needs a bit of work, but what's shown so far looks good.

Now Ruin being for both the PS3 and Vita, you're like "Another game I'll have to buy both versions if I want to play it on both consoles." That was what I was like, so I going to get just one version, and then I just found out that both games will be bundled together. A way to push sales for Vita I'm sure, but for those of us already picking one up and this being a game I'll be picking up, then it's great for me.

While it probably won't happen with any non first party games, I really think more developers that are creating multi console games should do this.

Here's a question, though. Being that copies of Ruin will be packaged together, with the PS3 version costing $59.99 and the Vita version costing $39.99 on Amazon right now, you think picking up the Vita version will come with the PS3 version included or only the other way around? Because if I was to preorder it for the Vita right now, then I'd get it for $39.99.

Sweet! ^_^

I was hoping something like this would come from all the talk of how easy it is to port PS3 games to the Vita and vice versa. Hopefully if this proves to be popular and the currently listed price point holds we could see this on more then just first party offerings for the console. I just have my fingers crossed that the Z.O.E. and Metal Gear HD collections jump on board with this as well. :D

To answer your question: I would think that the PS3 version would be the one with a game included and a download voucher for the PS3 game while the Vita physical package would only include the Vita game card due to the lower price but with this title it may go both ways.

On a related note I am hoping that Counter Strike Global Offensive is released like Portal 2 with both a PS3 disc and Steam download.
