Those little jalapeno lights in the top right corner of the first picture make me think that I need to find someone who can mould and manufacture little space invader creatures for putting on strings of lights. Maybe other little assorted plastic retro gaming symbols, like the Atari Fuji symbol, the Nintendo Seal Of Approval, a Sega logo, that sort of thing. I wonder how difficult it'd be to make them myself?

This is awesome. You have practically everything. I hope you have a couch or something relaxing to sit on, because I couldn't bear to sit on a basement floor like that. I remember that's how I used to do my gaming on our SNES in the basement family room. It was just a thin carpet between the ground and my butt.

My kids sit on the floor. We are waiting to get new couches to bring the old ones down stairs. For now I use the stools from the bar we have down there to sit on or I'll use my office chair.

How do you deal with the short cords of the 2600 with the system being so high up on the shelf?

i have 2 six foot genesis extension cables that i picked up. It gives me about 10ft of cable.
