Hello, I know its been forever since I have been an active member of this community, I have been away since I took a break from collecting Games and focused on other things in life.

I have recently gotten into artprint collecting (if anyone is interested there is a wonderful online community at the http://www.expressobeans.com/ forums)

Anyway, so there was recently a show called "Old School Video Games Art Show" hosted by a very 80s and video game friendly gallery in CA called G1988.

They have recently posted the print available from the show online and I think some of you might be interested. I am in no way affiliated with anyone and anything there or themselves.

They host these periodically and the website does have other video game related artwork you guys might enjoy.

Cheers!

PS: Whats up with this meseta stuff?

I collect art prints as well but only from 2 artists (mostly cause I like them better):

Joe Ledbetter and Andrew Bell.

Ledbetter did have some art that was in one of G1988 retro-gaming gallery:

Andrew Bell designed the Google Android figure but makes really awesome art and figures.

Cool, i wonder if there are more people here interested in the hobby.

my favorite artists i tend to collect are Daniel Danger and Tim Doyle. I like McCarthy too, he makes some exquisite landscapes.

Those are some really nice prints. I mostly prefer authentic paintings myself but they usually cost a ton and when it's digital media it usually looks better printed on high quality paper rather than canvas.

Maybe it's the reason why my paintings don't sell, baaw. Oil paintings are really hard to sell these days even when you take commissions :/.
