We all know about the dreaded "Sega Thumb" but how are your wrists doing? Granted, I also play drums and work on the computer a lot, so it all factors in, but it seems like I've had to really limit my gaming time recently due to my wrists hurting bad from holding controllers too long.
It seems to me like controllers are designed for people with small hands and if you are like me and have bigger paws, you're kind of screwed. I can't find any angle to hold the controller comfortably. I've had to practically let my GBA collect dust because it hurts too much to play it.
So, anybody else in this boat? Tips, tricks, what works for you?

I was once finding my wrist to be sore as well. At the time I was playing a fanatical amount of time on NHL 2002 on the XBOX, so I blamed it on the XBOX controller, but its the one that is more suited for those of use with bigger mitts. Once I played a little less and gave it a break, it improved and has been ok since, so it appears less game play worked for me.
Although it is probably still to early to tell, for things like this and carpo tunnel, which I hope you don't have, I feel nutrition is a factor. Somewhere, there is something of nutritional value missing from the diet, that if corrected, will also help these problems. Not an easy thing to ascertain though.....
As you are doing just try a little less play for now and see how it goes. Its either less gaming or less work ( computer).......

For the gameboy advance, get one of those rechargeable battery packs with th controller handle "Extensions" They're cheap and make it a LOT easier.
For the rest, depends on the game and what else I've been doing that day.
Incidentilly, I think the gamecube controller is TOO comfortable. My hands work up a HUGE sweat within minutes of picking the thing up!

Try playing Dead or Alive 3 with the original X-box pad for more than an hour, or any fighting game on GBA. Carpal-tunnel, here I come!
