Hey,
Do people realize that these promotional items are given away FREE at E3?
Talk about profit margins for the sellers. Me, whenever I go out to LA for the show, I give my extra stuff to friends. Somehow, it seems wrong to profit off swag that people hand you for NOTHING. Anyone else agree or disagree?

I really don't see a problem with it.
If I went and got stuff like that I would probably sell it too.
Its not my fault those people are that dumb to bid on it, let alone for that much.

I have either passed up on my chance to go to e3 or didn't have the funds to go, so I have no problem bidding on stuff for a few $ that I wouldn't have access to anyhow. $70 is too insane for me to bid on a Press Kit, but $2 for a bottle of King of Fighter water is ok.
Think about it: most of the people who are probably bidding on it don't have the credentials to be given access to the show or don't have the funds it takes to go.

I collect press kits, and depending on what's in them and how "cool" they are, I'm more than happy to pay that amount or even more.
However, that MGS kit is all over ebay for a lot cheaper too, so the bidder made a big mistake here, methinks.

I gave a press kit to the Queen of the Felines for the cost of shipping and the PayPal charges.

And it's very cool and I greatly appreciate it too! :D
