The MGC is looking for a few good men! (Or women!) We are looking to solidify help in two major areas at the show this year. If you love the show and have the time, we'd love to have you help with the show! And, you wouldn't miss a minute of the show itself! Here's what we need help with:

Wednesday Night @ 6:30pm - We need to pack up our truck full of show stuff! We could use the hand of two or three additional people this night to help us load the truck at two locations, travel to the hotel and unload the truck there. Generally, this takes about three hours.

Sunday Night @ 5pm - Guess what? We load the truck up of everything from the show, take it back to our two locations where we store stuff, and put it all away (or at least sort of away). The last few years, we have had a skeleton crew for this and it has taken far longer than it should. We'd like to get an additional 6-8 people for this.

If you can help with either of these things, please contact me ASAP through here via PM or email. I appreciate you considering it!

Had a great time at the 2012 Midwest Gaming Classic! Once again thought that Dan, Gary, Marty, and all of the organizers did an awesome job and put on a fantastic show. Was good to see all of the familiar faces again, and as I wasn’t vending for the first time in a while, I got to see the whole show for a change. It’s amazing how it has grown over the years, and how creatively every bit of available space in the hotel was used. I took a few shots with the iPhone, and thought I would share them with those who couldn’t make it…

The hotel bar and restaurant held the speakers venue…saw a great documentary on Tetris champions and fascinating Skype interviews with some of those present at the start of Atari.

Does anyone here know who it was that was selling the boxed Wondermega? I've been looking for one for years, and it caught my eye... But I wasn't mentally prepared to spend $400 on it at the time. I might be now, though. :)

Not for certain, but I'm gonna guess it was Mad Gear. The guy at the entrance with all the imports and glass cases. He had all the import systems and such.

You may have seen me in the lower hallway at the vendor tables, wayyyy at the end with the Level Up Games banner. I had a great time this year, made a nice chunk of cash and found some boxes and manuals I have been after forever- I was really psyched to find a Sparkster box!
As my first year selling, I was really impressed at how smoothly everything was put together, and the ease I had dealing with Dan and Gary who were very prompt at returning my emails and calls.
The first night my friends and I crammed into a hotel room, pricing everything until about 3am. Saturday I was dragging so badly, there was no way I was gonna do that again and drove the 30 minutes to sleep in my own bed:vamp: I must be getting old.
